As Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, Innovation Law, at Bristol Myers Squibb, Henry leads a high-performing legal and administrative team dedicated to advancing groundbreaking treatments for patients with serious unmet medical needs.
A recognized leader in the IP community, Henry serves on the board of the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), previously serving as President (2018-2019) and currently as President of the IPO Education Foundation. During his IPO presidency, he launched the Presidential Task Force on Diversity, Inclusion, and Leadership to foster meaningful change in the profession. Henry is a well-known advocate for a strong and predictable IP system that drives innovation and economic opportunities for all. He was recently appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to the nine-person Patent Public Advisory Committee (PPAC), which is charged with reviewing the policies, performance and budget of the US Patent & Trademark Office.
