AABANY is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 AABANY Law Firm Leadership Award, which honors a law firm that demonstrates exceptional leadership in cultivating talent, developing future leaders, and providing meaningful opportunities for attorneys, regardless of their backgrounds, to advance in their careers while ensuring equal opportunity for all.
Nominees should be law firms that have shown a strong commitment to building and strengthening a pipeline of talented attorneys, mentoring and promoting lawyers into leadership roles, and contributing to the advancement of the legal profession through impactful initiatives.
The 2025 AABANY Law Firm Leadership Award will be presented at AABANY’s Annual Dinner on May 29, 2025, during AAPI Heritage Month.
Selection Criteria
Nominees will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Demonstrated commitment to cultivating a strong pipeline of talented attorneys and providing equal opportunities for professional growth.
- Proven track record of retaining and promoting attorneys into leadership positions, including providing mentorship, sponsorship, and development opportunities.
- Demonstrated leadership in developing and supporting lawyers, including creating pathways to senior roles within the firm and the legal profession.
- Meaningful contributions to the broader legal community, such as active engagement with bar associations like AABANY and support for initiatives aimed at advancing leadership and excellence in the legal profession.
- Any other factors the selection committee deems valuable in furthering AABANY’s mission to promote the growth and success of attorneys from all backgrounds.
